I'll wrap myself in the scent of you, like a warm, soft blanket on a cold and cheerless night. It'll get me through today and tomorrow and other endless tomorrows. It'll help me feel safe and loved on nights when loneliness just overwhelms me.
It will have to suffice.
I'll close my eyes and dream of you when it all becomes too much to bear. I'll sink into the memories of yesteryear. And these precious gems will guide me through the rough patches and bring me through to the other side.
